U.S. Comedian Bob Saget Dies at Age 65

American comedian and actor Bob Saget died at the age of 65 on Jan. 9 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room, later identified as Bob Saget who was pronounced dead on the scene just after 4 p.m. local time.

Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Saget’s death came a day after he performed a two-hour set in Jacksonville as part of his nationwide comedy tour.

Saget was best known for his role as Danny Tanner on the sitcom “Full House” and reprised this role in the 2016 Netflix reboot “Fuller House.”

Saget also hosted “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for eight years.

Saget is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and his three children, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer.
