A third accuser in the Ghislaine Maxwell sex-trafficking trial testified on Dec. 7 that Maxwell personally inspected her body for late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein when she was a minor.
“She came in and felt my boobs and my hips and my buttocks and said I had a great body for Mr. Epstein and his friends,” the accuser, identified only as “Carolyn,” told the federal court in Manhattan.
Carolyn initially said she was 14 when Virginia Giuffre — a longtime Epstein and Maxwell accuser — introduced her to them, then later said she was 13.
According to Carolyn, Giuffre told her they were going to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion to “give him a massage.”
Giuffre, who was 18 at the time, removed her clothes while Carolyn remained in her underwear when they began massaging Epstein, Carolyn said.
Then, Epstein began having sex with Giuffre while Carolyn “was sitting on the couch right in front of them.”
Carolyn said that Maxwell took her phone number and would call to schedule massages.
Carolyn went back to the mansion “over 100 times” between the ages of 14 and 18 and she would sometimes schedule the appointments to get money, she said.
Maxwell would usually greet Carolyn when she arrived, gave her instructions, and paid her $300 to $400 for every encounter, Carolyn said.
Carolyn told the court she would use the money for drugs.
“Marijuana, cocaine, alcohol, anything that could block out… the appointment,” Carolyn said.
Carolyn said she stopped going to Epstein’s mansion when she got pregnant with her then-boyfriend and had a child.
When Carolyn returned because she needed money, she was told that she was “too old.” She was 18 at the time.
Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to recruiting and sexually abusing minors.
The trial continues.
