Suicide Bombings Strike Northwest Syria, Killing Three

At least three people were killed and several others received injures in a series explosions, including two suicide bombings that ripped through northwest Syria near the Turkish border, a war monitor said.

The first incident as a result of an improvised explosive device killed one civilian in the city of Azaz, which is near the crossing with Turkey, a rescue worker said.

Few hours later, a police source confirmed a suicide bombing occurred in the town of al-Bab inside a marketplace, in which three people were wounded and the suspected bomber was killed.

Few minutes later after the second blast, another suicide bombing took place in the city of Afrin, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The watchdog said they are scrambling to figure out on the possible casualties, but said to work if the three back-to-back explosions were linked to each other.
