Saudi Arabia Hails Bahrain’s Diplomatic Achievements

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday praised Bahrain’s diplomatic achievements and efforts to further improve ties between the two states.

In a statement marking Bahrain Diplomatic Day, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz said that Bahrain’s political vision which is based on wisdom and respect for human rights is shaping the cornerstone of the country’s development and progress.

“Bahrain’s diplomacy, since the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1971, has been able to achieve a long series of successes and achievements at all levels”, the statement quoted Abdulaziz as saying. 

The Saudi envoy expressed gratitude over Bahrain’s commitment to promoting security, peace, and sustainable development in various parts of the region.

Abdulaziz said that Bahrain has managed, through its wise foreign policy and effective diplomacy, to assume a prominent international position.

“One of the most important principles of Bahrain is the observation of good neighborhoods in the line of non-interference into internal affairs of other countries,” Abdulaziz added.

Bahrain is also engaged in strengthening Gulf and Arab relations to serve the common interests of the Arab and Islamic nations, Abdulaziz added.
