The Philippines recorded 11,429 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, hitting total cases to over 900,000.
The country’s Department of Health (DOH) logged a total number of 904,285 cases as the Philippines experienced more than 10,000 cases daily in the past weeks.
According to the bulletin of DOH, the country has 183,527 active cases as of April 15.
DOH also reported 148 new COVID-related deaths, pushing the country’s coronavirus death toll to 15,594.
The Philippines’ Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reported in a press briefing that there were 1,255,716 Filipinos inoculated since it started its vaccination roll-out on March 1.
Meanwhile, 1,039,651 individuals received their first dose of vaccine and 162,065 people were “fully inoculated.”
The Philippines is under the modified community quarantine until April 30.
