NDAL MFG INC Recalls Nasal Spray due to Potential Health Risk

NDAL MFG INC recalled one lot of Manukaguard Allercleanse, nasal spray to the   consumer  level due to the product being potentially contaminated with yeast.

The use of Allercleanse (manuka honey) nasal spray contaminated with yeasts poses a serious and possibly life-threatening risk to those with weakened immune systems.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), common signs and symptoms of consuming yeast are nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Individuals who suffer from asthma or any other respiratory illnesses should watch for signs of an allergic reaction.

The product was distributed Nationwide in the USA to 1 e-commerce website amazon.com, distributors and retail stores.

In response to this, NDAL MFG INC representatives have been coordinating with retail stores, instructing them to immediately remove the product from store shelves and inventories.

The company has also issued a point of sale notice to its customers to explain why the product is being recalled and what to do if they have purchased the product.

NDAL MFG INC has advised their customers to return it to the point of sale for a full refund. They also provide the option to contact them for more information and concerns about the affected product.

There have been no illnesses reported to date.
