Kim Kardashian, Paul Pierce, and Floyd Mayweather Sued Over Crypto Scam

Kim Kardashian, Floyd Mayweather Jr. , and Paul Pierce along with other celebrities have been sued for allegedly leading investors into a cryptocurrency “pump and dump” scam.

New York resident Ryan Huegerich has filed a class-action lawsuit in California Federal Court against the company behind the EthereumMax (EMAX) cryptocurrency along with the celebrities who endorsed it.

The lawsuit alleged that the celebrities told their millions of social-media followers to buy the cryptocurrency before selling during inflation.

Accordiing to the lawsuit, Kardashian, Pierce, Mayweather and other celebrities were guilty of “unjust enrichment” from “aiding and abetting” EMAX.

Huegerich also said that the accused violated California’s Unfair Competition Law and California’s Consumers Legal Remedies Act.

“The deceptive narrative associated with the recent allegations is riddled with misinformation,” said EMAX on the allegations.

No legal council from the accused celebrities has commented on the lawsuit.
