Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Convicted for Trespassing

The ex-husband of Britney Spears was convicted of trespassing and battery on Thursday after he broke into the singer’s California home on the day she married her new husband.

Jason Alexander, 40, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing and battery.

Alexander had previously faced charges of felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism, but those counts were dropped.

The Ventura County District Attorney’s office said Alexander was sentenced to credit for time served after spending 64 days in the Ventura County Jail.

The Ventura County District Attorney’s office also issued a criminal protective order prohibiting Alexander from coming within 100 yards of Spears and her new husband, Sam Asghari.
