Azerbaijan and Egypt on Thursday reiterated their firm commitment to further cement bilateral relations, especially in areas of economy and investment.
Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev in a meeting with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt for European Affairs, Ihab Talaat Nasr, stressed the need to expand economic-trade cooperation between the two states in all areas.
“Azerbaijan and Egypt have successfully been engaged in different economic projects within the framework of international organizations,” Aliyev said.
Aliyev called for the establishment of direct relations between businessperson, and business forums as an important measure in terms of increasing trade partnership between the two states.
Alliyev also called on the Egyptian businessmen to invest in different areas in Azerbaijan.
Egypt’s Minister Talaat reaffirmed his country’s desire to have a strong relation with Azerbaijan, and expressed readiness on expansion of bilateral economic partnership.
