American Fashion Designer Alexander Wang Accused of Sexual Assault

Alexander Wang, a famed fashion designer in the United States, is currently facing fresh multiple allegations of sexual assault and misconduct.

Wang was previously accused by British model and graphic designer Owen Mooney in January that he was groped by the prominent American fashion designer at a nightclub in New York City in 2017.

Keaton Bullen, a 21-year-old fashion student at the New York’s Parsons School of Design, told BBC that he was sexually assaulted by Wang at a club in August 2019.

The allegation came as Lisa Bloom, an American attorney who was well-known for handling sexual abuse allegations and sexual harassment cases, announced that she is now representing 11 men that have sexual misconduct allegations against Wang.

Earlier this year, Wang released a statement that strongly denied the allegations made against him, saying that the claims were all “false, fabricated and mostly anonymous.”

“I have never engaged in the atrocious behavior described and would never conduct myself in the manner that’s been alleged,” Wang said, adding that “these baseless allegations were started on social media by sites which repeatedly disregarded the value and importance of evidence or fact-checking.”

In a statement, Bullen said that he was with a friend at a nightclub in New York City on August 24, 2019, when Wang approached the two of them.

Wang then asked the two to come to his table and offered them alcoholic drinks before eventually inviting Bullen to the dance floor.

However, in the early hours of the morning, Bullen said that Wang suddenly sexually assaulted him. The latter allegedly unzipped his pants and touched his private part in front of many people.

“I completely froze,” he added.

Bullen said that he feels it is his responsibility to tell his experience and support the other men who bravely came forward with similar accusations and were described as “liars” by Wang.
