Lady Gaga to Star in ‘Joker’ Sequel

Lady Gaga announced on Thursday that she will star with Joaquin Phoenix in the upcoming “Joker” sequel.

Gaga revealed her involvement in the “Joker: Folie à Deux” in her musical teaser posted on Twitter.  

Todd Phillips, who directed and co-wrote the 2019 Joker film, teased “Joker: Folie à Deux” in June this year.

Gaga was also reported in June this year to have been in early talks to play “Harley Quinn,” the Joker’s psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who falls in love with him, helps him escape, and eventually becomes his sidekick and love interest.

Deadline reported that the production of “Joker: Folie à Deux” will start in December.

“Joker: Folie à Deux” will be released on October 4, 2024.
