At Least 8 Killed In Israeli Army Raids On Gaza Strip

At least eight people, including a senior militant from Islamic Jihad were killed and dozens more received injuries after the Israeli military launched air strikes in Gaza Strip on Friday.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they have killed a senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group in Gaza. “Tayseer Jabari was responsible for multiple terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and the IDF will continue to defend Israel against the threat of terrorism,” IDF said in a tweet.

Palestinian Health Ministry said that five-year-old girl are among eight dead and another 44 were wounded so far.

Israel army said they will continue to strike “terrorist targets” in the Gaza Strip and so far “6 Islamic Jihad military posts were bombed” and a number of its operatives were killed during the strikes.

Islamic Jihad Leader, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah vowed retaliation for the strikes and said that Israel had “started war against our people.”

In a statement broadcast on Al Mayadeen, Al-Nakhala said that there are no “red lines in this battle and Israeli cities will fall under the rockets of resistance”.

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz visited communities near Gaza on Friday, describing the situation in Israel’s south “tense”.

Gantz during the meeting called on the Israeli enemies, specifically to the leadership of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad that “Your time is up.

Gantz said that they are not seeking conflict, but will continue military operations to defend the communities and citizens of the entire State of Israel.
