Taiwan Struck by Cyberattack Ahead of Rumored Pelosi Visit

The website of Taiwan’s presidential office has been taken offline ahead of U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s controversial visit to the country.

The website  is still down and only says “OK.” The Taiwanese government has not yet made a statement.

According to Flightradar24, a US Air Force Boeing C-40C designated as SPAR19 was seen leaving Malaysia and moving away from the South China Sea, heading north-east.

Pelosi’s most recent destination was Malaysia after she departed Japan, but there was no confirmation from US authorities if she was aboard SPAR19.

SPAR19 was already east of Luzon Island in the Philippines as of 9:22 PM local time, while Apple Daily reported that Pelosi’s flight might arrive at Taipei Songshan Airport at 10:20 PM.
