A McDonald’s employee was shot in a Brooklyn restaurant on Monday after getting into an argument with a customer.
The New York City Police Department said a 23-year-old male McDonald’s employee was working at a McDonald’s location in Brooklyn when he got into an argument with a female customer over food at around 7 PM.
The incident escalated when the argument spilled outside the McDonald’s location at 1531 Fulton St, Brooklyn, and the customer’s adult son pulled out a gun and shot the McDonald’s employee in the face.
Medical respondents rushed the McDonald’s employee to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.
New York City Police Department took a 20-year-old into custody at the scene but have filed no charges.
The names of the victim and suspect have not been released.
