Iran Reports 62 More COVID-19 Related Deaths In Past 24 Hours

Iran on Monday logged 62 COVID-19 related deaths and 9,699 new positive cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,060 people.

Iran’s Health Ministry said that 1,672 out of 9,699 patients have been hospitalized during the span of time.

Some of the patients were requiring urgent medical treatment, the ministry said but did not specify the numbers.

Another 7,400,725 patients have been fully recovered and discharged from hospitals since the outbreak of the virus started in the country some three years ago.

The ministry said that 1,271 patients were in intensive care units and some of them are in critical conditions.

Moreover, the ministry said that 64,801,291 Iranian have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines and another 58,173,476 injected their second doses.
