Las Vegas Casinos Floods After Sudden Thunderstorms Hit Nevada

Flash flooding caused by sudden thunderstorms in Nevada has inundated Las Vegas casinos, garages, and homes.

Videos have circulated on Twitter showing slot floors and the streets of Las Vegas flooded with murky floodwaters.

At 7 PM local time Friday, the National Weather Service of Nevada issued a storm alert and warned of strong winds, flash flooding, and frequent lightning.

Among the areas affected were Las Vegas, Henderson, Mesquite, and Boulder City.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police reported at least eight vehicle accidents during the storm while there were no reported injuries or deaths.
