UAE Reports 1,223 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths In Past 24 Hours

UAE’s health ministry said Wednesday that they have registered 1,223 new COVID-19 cases and two related-deaths in the past 24 hours.

The Emirate’s overall COVID-19 tally has now reached 986,747, while the nationwide death toll rose by 2,334. The ministry said they had carried out 225,577 COVID-19 tests during the span of time.

As many as 1,127 more patients won the battle against the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 965,955.

The ministry called on the citizens to follow the health instructions seriously and cooperate with the health authorities to help stop further spread of the virus in the society.  

The ministry also emphasized on observing physical distance and called on the citizens to play their role in keeping society safe from virus.
