Several Missiles Hit US Base In Southern Syria

Several rockets hit a US army base in al-Shadadi city in Hasaka, southern Syria on Wednesday. There is no immediate report of casualties.

Syrian news agency SANA reported that the “illegal US occupation” base in al-Shadadi city was targeted with several missiles,” and one of them landed inside the base.

Several loud explosions were also heard in the northern and western suburbs of the oil-rich city of al-Shaddadi.

The US officials did not comment on the matter so far.

Two months ago, four US soldiers received minor injuries after an indirect fire attack on the Green village base in eastern Syria.

The same base was attacked in January, with eight rockets landing inside the perimeter.
