Former NFL Player Damon Arnette Arrested in Miami Beach

Former NFL player Damon Arnette was arrested on three charges in South Florida early Tuesday morning.

Arnette, 25, was initially pulled over on Monday at 8:56 PM in Miami beach after police discovered his license was expired.

Florida police told Arnette he was not allowed to drive until his license was reinstated, but they allowed the passenger in the vehicle with Arnette to operate the car.

However, Florida police busted Arnette for driving the same car around 12:48 AM on Tuesday.

Florida police then further inspected the car and searched Arnette before finding a “white powdery substance” on him.

Arnette was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

Arnette was released on a $2,000 bond but is scheduled to appear in court on August 25 for the arraignment.
