DOJ Investigating Trump for Jan 6 Actions

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly investigating former President Donald Trump for his actions in relation to the Jan. 6 insurrection.

According to Washington Post sources, witnesses were questioned by Justice Department lawyers about conversations with Trump, his lawyers, and other close advisers about rigged polls and “fake electors.”

The sources added that the witnesses were asked about Trump’s direct role in the “fake elector” scheme spearheaded by his lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman.

The DOJ lawyers were reportedly trying to prove if Trump was guilty of seditious conspiracy and conspiracy to obstruct a government proceeding.

Among those alleged witnesses were former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, and aide Greg Jacob.
