Rock and Roll Icon Mick Jagger Turns 79

Rock and roll icon Mick Jagger has turned 79 on Tuesday.

Born on July 26, 1943, Jagger began his career in the mid-1950s performing in garage bands.

In 1961, after being reunited with old classmate Keith Richards, Jagger dropped out of school, and they created a band that would later be called “The Rollings Stones”.

The Rolling Stones posted a birthday greeting on Twitter for its frontman, Jagger.

“Join us in wishing the one and only Mick Jagger a very happy birthday today! Happy birthday Mick,” The Rolling Stones said in a tweet.

Jagger’s fans also extended their birthday greetings on Twitter.

“Happy birthday today to the brilliant Mick Jagger, still rocking at 79. Singer-songwriter, actor, musician, record producer. One of the greatest and most famous bands ever. Everyone loves the Rolling Stones around the world. Still in 2022, all that great music,” a Rolling Stones fan said in a tweet.
