Shooting Reported at Dallas Love Field Airport

A shooting has been reported inside Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas Monday morning.

Edgardo Garcia, Dallas Chief of Police, said the incident occurred at about 11 AM when a 37-year-old woman arrived at the airport, went to the bathroom, and exited wearing a hoodie.

The woman then pulled out a gun and began shooting, with most shots aiming at the ceiling.

A Dallas officer shot her in a lower extremity, and she was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in an unknown condition.

Garcia added that no one else in the Dallas Love Field Airport was injured and that “the terminal” is secure.

The Federal Aviation Administration has put a ground stop in place at the Dallas Love Field Airport.

The investigation of the shooting incident is currently ongoing.
