Ivana Trump, the first wife of Donald Trump and the mother of three of his children, has died aged 73.
According to the NYPD, EMS responded to a call of a person in cardiac arrest at 10 East 64th Street on the Upper East Side at 12:40 p.m. Medics declared Ivana dead on scene.
The death is not considered suspicious, and officials say she appears to have died of natural causes.
Ivana, who was born in the Czech Republic, married the former president in 1977. The couple divorced in 1992 when Donald Trump’s extramarital affair with Marla Maples became public.
They had three children – Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric Trump.
Ivana’s marriage to Donald Trump was her second. Her first marriage was to Alfred Winklmayr, an Austrian ski instructor and friend. She reportedly married iWinklmayr to obtain Austrian citizenship and leave flee her then communist home country without having to defect.
