Burmese authorities reported that a bombing at a shopping mall in Yangon killed two people and wounded eleven.
“When we arrived there, injured people were scattered about and there was blood on the roadside. According to the information we collected, eleven people were injured and two were killed,” said an emergency worker requesting anonymity.
No group has taken responsibility for the bombing but it occurred at the same time as the bombings of the Myanmar Junta Chief’s Sister in the same area.
The Federal Liberation Army and the Union of Myanmar Civil Defense said that they bombed the house of Daw Zin Zin Hlaing, the elder sister of junta chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Monday Morning.
The Special Nway Oo and God’s Hand Force groups have also claimed another bombing at a traffic police outpost near the bus stop at Nine Mile Junction in Mayangone Township.
According to the Burmese rebel groups, they were targeting Junta forces only.
