Founders of Bankrupt Cryptocurrency Hedge Fund Vanish

The founders of crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) have gone missing after filing for bankruptcy.

3AC founders and former Credit Suisse traders Zhu Su and Kyle Davies, once managed an estimated $10 billion in assets after founding the company in 2012.

According to court documents,  management firm Teneo has been tasked to liquidate 3AC assets but has failed to locate Su and Davies ahead of their hearing on Tuesday.

Teneo senior directors Russell Crumpler and Christopher Farmer said they have not received “any meaningful cooperation” from Su and Davies after failing to communicate with them properly during a Zoom call.

Both Su and Davies were also not present at the 3AC headquarters in Singapore.

3AC filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy earlier in July, defaulted on a $670 million loan from the also bankrupt crypto broker Voyager Digital, and also failed to pay $270 million to crypto exchange Blockchain.com.
