Rapper Young Thug’s Nephew Charged with Murdering Girlfriend

Rapper Young Thug’s nephew was arrested and charged in Georgia on Wednesday for allegedly killing his girlfriend.

Fardereen Deonta Grier, 21, was arrested in East Point, Georgia, and charged with murder after fatally shooting Destiny Fitzpatrick on Wednesday at about 4:45 PM.

East Point police spokesperson said officers found Grier crying and found Fitzpatrick dead in a pool of blood near the front door of a unit in The Park at Galaway Apartments in the 4000 block of Foxhunt Lane.

Grier initially told officers that “two guys in ski masks attempted to rob” him as he and Fitzpatrick were leaving the apartment but soon admitted to shooting Fitzpatrick in the face.

Grier told police that he is Young Thug’s nephew, the son of his oldest sister.

A witness told East Point police that he heard Grier and Fitzpatrick arguing in the unit before the shooting, so he went outside and saw Fitzpatrick lying on the ground and called the police.

The unnamed witness added that he did not see anyone leaving the apartment.
