Detained Mossad-Linked Agents To Be Tried In Iran: Official

Iran announced it will put on trial the three detained Mossad-inked agents arrested in southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province over an alleged plot to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists.

Prosecutor General of Sistan-Baluchestan, Mehdi Shamsabadi on Tuesday said that the three suspects were arrested after a complicated intelligence operation was conducted in the span of eight months.

Without specifying the nationality of the detainees, Shamsabadi said that the case defendants were under investigation and soon a lawsuit will be filed against them.

In April, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry claimed they have arrested three people working for the Israeli spy agency Mossad in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan.

Iran accused the three, whose names are abbreviated as M.S, M.Z., and A-Gh, of their alleged involvement in transferring and leaking classified information and documents “regarding the Iran nuclear program.”

The Israeli government did show any reaction to the development so far.
