Justin Bieber Updates Fans on Rare Medical Condition

Justin Bieber gave a faith-filled update on a rare medical ailment that has left one-half of his face paralyzed.

On Monday, Bieber shared a statement on his verified Instagram account on his continued recovery from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

“Wanted to share a little bit of how I’ve been feelin. Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me. I’m reminded he knows all of me,” Bieber wrote on his Instastory.

Last week, the “Yummy” singer stated that he has been diagnosed with a rare neurological disease caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox and shingles.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a peripheral facial nerve palsy accompanied by zoster vesicles on the ear, hard palate, or tongue.

Bieber revealed how one side of his face was unable to move as a result of the diagnosis in a video he shared and stated that the diagnosis is why he canceled several gigs and plans to take a vacation from touring while he recovers.
