China And Kyrgyzstan Vow To Boost Sustainable Economic Cooperation

China and Kyrgyzstan vowed to work on sustainable economic cooperation to achieve common development on the principle of equality and bilateral benefits between the two neighboring countries.

Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a meeting with his Kyrgyz Counterpart, Jeenbek Kulubaev said that China supports Kyrgyzstan in maintaining political stability, social harmony and sustainable economic development.

“China is and was Kyrgyzstan’s most reliable long-term strategic cooperative partner,” Wang told Kulubaev during a meeting on the sidelines of the third China + Central Asia (C+C5) foreign ministers meeting in Kazakhstan.

Wang also called for strong bilateral cooperation in different areas as the two countries entered its 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

In his part, Kulubaev said that maintaining sincere relations with China is in top priority of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy.  

Kulubaev also called for practical cooperation in areas of infrastructure, border customs clearance, local-level exchanges, and health sectors.
