Stranger Things Season 4 Breaks Netflix Record

Stranger Things Season 4 premiered on May 27 and broke Netflix’s records for the biggest-ever premiere weekend of an English-language series.

As of Wednesday, Netflix said on Twitter that Stranger Things Season 4 reached 286.79 million hours viewed worldwide.

Deadline News reported that Stranger Things Season 4 climbed to No. 1 in 83 countries and hit the Top 10 in all the 93 countries that Netflix is tracking.

The second season of Netflix’s Bridgerton series was the previous holder of the record for the biggest-ever premiere weekend of an English-language series.

Netflix announced in February that the current season of Stranger Things would be released in two parts this summer.

The first part of Stranger Things Season 4 aired on May 27, and the second part will debut on July 1.

Netflix also said that Stranger Things will end with the fifth season.
