Pelosi Husband Arrested for Suspected DUI

Paul Pelosi, 82, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol Sunday morning after he was involved in a car collision.

According to the Napa County Criminal Justice, Paul was detained around 11:44 PM and charged with two misdemeanor counts, driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher.

Paul was released on Sunday morning after his bail was placed at $5,000.

The California Highway Patrol in Napa reported that units responded to a two-vehicle collision at 10:26 PM local time on State Route 29 at Walnut Lane.

Paul was driving a Porsche and traveling eastbound on Walnut Lane and attempted to cross SR-29 when a driver traveling northbound on SR-29 in a Jeep hit his vehicle.

Nancy Pelosi’s office said she was in Providence, Rhode Island, amid her husband’s arrest to deliver the 2022 commencement address at Brown University, where she was also awarded an honorary doctorate.
