A magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck in southern Peru and was felt as far away as Bolivia.
According to the USGS, the 7.2 earthquake struck 13 km WNW of Azángaro, Peru at around 12:02:20 (UTC) located at 14.863°S 70.308°W with a depth of 217.8 km.
There were no reported deaths or property damage so far.
The San Calixto Observatory in Bolivia confirmed that the earthquake was felt in the city of La Paz and also in Cochabamba while no deaths, injuries, or property damage have been reported.
