Agrawal Could Get $42 million if Terminated after Twitter Acquisition

Twitter’s chief executive Parag Agrawal will get around $42 million if he gets terminated after Elon Musk has become the owner of the social media platform.

According to a report by Business Insider, research from Equilar revealed Agrawal’s base salary in a year based on computation from Musk’s %54.20 per share offer and the company’s recent proxy statements.

Business Insider said it is not yet clear how long it will take for Twitter’s acquisition process to be completed.

Musk has not also revealed his plans for the company but began running polls on Twitter shortly after revealing that he had purchased a 9.2 percent share in the firm.

Musk also asked his followers for their thoughts on topics such as freedom of speech on the site and the much-desired edit button.
