Video Shows Former Mike Tyson Punching Plane Passenger After Apparent Harassment

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson on Wednesday was recorded on video punching a fellow passenger onboard a plane at San Francisco International Airport after seemingly being harassed.

The footage, first shared by TMZ, showed Tyson leaning over the back of his seat repeatedly striking the passenger.

TMZ claimed a witness said the passenger was heavily intoxicated and would not stop trying to annoy Tyson.

In the video, the man is seen standing over Tyson’s seat, waving his arms and talking loudly while the former boxer sits quietly.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” a spokesperson for Tyson told ESPN on Thursday.

The man reportedly received medical attention after the incident. The San Francisco Police Department said he provided “minimal details” to the police and refused to cooperate with the investigation.
