Road Accident in Oman Leaves Three Students Dead

Three female teenage students died, and seven more were injured in a road accident in Oman when a bus went off in Saham governorate according to a Royal Oman Police source.

The incident took place in Mikhalev Bridge on Al Batinah highway on Thursday when a bus first hit a pedestrian police officer and then collided with a truck, Police said in a statement, without providing more details.

On April 4, three Egyptian teachers, all of them females, died in a traffic accident in Oman’s Al Wusta Governorate in a similar accident of collision between two vehicles.

The Embassy of Oman in Cairo expressed its condolences and sympathy to the families of expatriate teachers from Egypt, Heba Gad Abdel Hamid al Sayed, Amira Ahmed Moamen Ahmed, and Shorouk Mohamed el Sayed Mohamed.

Moreover, two more Omani students were killed and several others were wounded again in a road accident in Nizwa governorate. The incident happened when the students from Nizwa University were traveling in a bus from home to university.
