Russia Fires Missiles Into Evacuee-Packed Train Station in Kramatorsk

Russian forces have reportedly launched Tocha-U missiles into the Kramatorsk railway station where thousands of refugees have gathered to evacuate by train.

There is no official tally for the number of people killed but authorities claimed that there are dozens while many more were wounded.

Ukraine Railways have reported that more than 30 people were killed in the attack so far.

“Russian Nazis hit the Kramatorsk railway station, using an Iskander missile system. Police and rescuers are working on the spot. There are dozens of killed people and injured,” said Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

Photos and videos of the scene show numerous corpses on the ground, blood puddles, and discarded luggage.

Kramatorsk station is used to evacuate civilians from areas being shelled by Russian forces to safer areas and has been under constant bombardment.

On Thursday, three trains that were evacuating the civilians were blocked in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk after Russian forces conducted an airstrike at an overpass near Barvinkove station, Donetsk railway.
