Two Killed, Two Injured in San Francisco Playground Shooting

Two men were killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a San Francisco playground on April 3 afternoon.

The shooting occurred at 4:39 p.m. local time at the Alice Chalmers Playground on the 600 block of Brunswick Avenue.

San Francisco Police found four men with gunshot wounds at the scene, two of whom were pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other two men had non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No arrests have been made, according to the police.

An investigation is ongoing.

City Supervisor Ahsha Safai called the shooting “a horrible act of violence.”

“I am 100% committed to making sure our community is safe. This is another act of senseless gun violence,” Safai said on Twitter.

The incident followed an overnight mass shooting in Sacramento that killed six and injured 12.
