Russian Defence Ministry Claims Kyiv Regime Stages Photos, Videos in Bucha

The Russian Defence Ministry denied the allegations of the alleged killings of civilians in the city of Bucha, saying that Kyiv staged all published photos and videos of the crimes.

In an interview with CBS’s Face the Nation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of genocide. Zelenskyy said that Russia is eliminating the nation and the people of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian government has released photos and videos of dead bodies of civilians on the streets of Bucha. A satellite image of a mass grave was also published.

The Russian Defence Ministry insisted that “not a single local resident has suffered from any violent action,” and Kyiv’s accusation was just another provocation. It also said that Russian servicemen have delivered humanitarian aid to civilians in the city.

The ministry insisted that the “evidence of crimes” did not emerge until the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian media arrived in Bucha after the Russian troops left last March 30.

The United Nations expressed horror over the incident while the secretary-general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) described the massacre as brutal, horrific, and absolutely unacceptable.
