Russian Forces have reportedly shelled a nursing home in Kreminna and killed 56 residents while others were allegedly taken captive.
“On March 11, the Russian occupiers fired from a tank at a nursing home in Kreminna, cynically and intentionally. They just moved a tank, put it in front of the house and started firing. Elderly people in the house – 56 people – died on the spot. The survivors, 15 people, were abducted by the occupiers and taken to the occupied territory in Svatove to the regional retirement home,” said Serhiy Haidai, head of the Luhansk regional military administration.
The Russian armed forces have not confirmed the report while access to the access to the area is restricted due to the ongoing fighting.
In Mariupol, an art school sheltering women and children was also shelled but there is no information yet on how many or if any were killed.
“Yesterday, the Russian occupiers dropped bombs on the G12 art school in the Left Bank district of Mariupol, where about 400 Mariupol residents were hiding – women, children and the elderly. It is known that the building was destroyed, and peaceful people are still under the rubble. Information on the number of victims is being clarified,” said the Mariupol city council.
