UN Security Council to Vote on Resolution Condemning Russia

The United Nations (UN) Security Council will vote on Feb. 25 a draft resolution condemning Russia for invading Ukraine.

The United States-drafted resolution will also require Russia to immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from Ukraine.

The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST, according to Norway’s UN Mission.

However, the proposal is expected to be vetoed by Russia, who currently serves as the president of the Council for the month of February.
