Two Children Killed in Landmine Blast in Syria

Two children were killed in a landmine blast in Syria’s eastern Hama province on Tuesday evening as violence had surged recently across the war-hit country.

The stat-run agency SANA reported that the two children from a single family members had lost their lives in a blast caused by a landmine placed by the “terrorists” in the village of Kulaib al-Thawr.

Earlier at the day, one Syrian soldier was killed and 11 others were wounded after an explosion targeted a military bus in Syria’s capital city of Damascus on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, Oleg Zhuravlev, Deputy Chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, said that two Syrian soldiers were killed again on Tuesday during shelling by militants in two provinces.

Zhuravlev said that mortar attacks in Aleppo province took the lives of one Syrian soldier and wounded three others, while another soldier was killed in a similar attack in Idlib province.
