The Greek government has urged its citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible after two of its citizens were killed by Ukrainian armed forces.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly discourages all travel in any part of Ukraine’s territory, and at the same time advises Greek citizens currently in Ukraine to leave the country immediately,” said the Greek Foreign Ministry.
Ukranian troops reportedly shot and killed two Greek citizens and wounded two others afere arguing with them in the village of Granitna.
There is no information on why the Greek citizens were in a village near a conflict area.
The Ukranian Armed forces have not yet released a statement on the incident while the condition of the wounded Greeks are not yet known.
