Candace Cameron Bure Recalls Final Text Conversation With Bob Saget

Candace Cameron Bure, star of Full House, talked out about her last text exchange with Bob Saget during an appearance with Hoda Kotb on NBC’s Today show on Thursday morning.

Bure stated that she and Saget had a little disagreement just two weeks before his untimely death but had addressed it via text.“We were going to have dinner,” recalled Bure. “And we got into a little tiff. And his flight was delayed. We ended up not having dinner. But in Bob fashion, the next day he wrote me, like, what would be pages long of a text. And he was apologizing, saying he was cranky and he was just so sorry.”

Saget, who portrayed Danny Tanner on Full House, was discovered dead on January 9 at a motel in Orlando, Florida. He was 65 years old. Bure was one of the first of his peers to respond to the renowned comedian’s passing, stating on Twitter, “I don’t know what to say. I have no words. Bob was one of the best human beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”

She also attended Saget’s private burial alongside Full House co-stars John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Jimmy Kimmel and Dave Chappelle.
