‘The Godfather’ TV Series ‘The Offer’ Releases First Trailer

The first trailer for The Offer, the upcoming Paramount+ TV series on The Godfather’s behind-the-scenes drama, has been published.

Michael Tolkin developed and wrote the 10-episode program, which is based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s “never-before-seen experiences” while working on the classic mafia thriller (The Player).

The footage was made available to reporters at Paramount+’s virtual Television Critics Association presentation on Tuesday.

Miles Teller plays Ruddy, Matthew Goode portrays legendary producer Robert Evans, Juno Temple portrays agent Bettye McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi portrays real-life crime boss Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler portrays director Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman portrays industrialist Charles Bluhdorn, Colin Hanks portrays business tycoon Barry Lapidus, and Patrick Gallo portrays author Mario Puzo.

Teller took over as the show’s lead when Armie Hammer left in late January amid claims of sexual misconduct by numerous women.

The series is directed by Nikki Toscano (Hunters). The first installment of the series was directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman).

The Offer will air on Thursday, April 28th.
