Palestine Records 4,548 COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths In Past 24 Hours

Palestine’s Health Minister, Mai Alkaila on Thursday said that they have registered 4,548 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 466,697 nationwide.

Another two patients lost their lives to the virus during the same period of hours, Alkaila said, pushing the death toll to 4,805 since the outbreak of the virus started two years ago.

Alkaila said the two patients died in a hospital in the West Bank

“Among the 4,548 cases, 1,398 of them were recorded in Gaza Strip and 3,150 were recorded from the West Bank,” Alkaila added.

According to Alkaila, 897 patients have been recovered and discharged from hospitals in this period of time, in total 439,810 patients recovered from the virus so far.

Currently, 120 COVID-19 patients are currently under medical treatment in hospitals, while 64 of them are in intensive care and another 18 patients are on ventilators.
