Ukrainian US Embassy Staff Allegedly Ordered to Evacuate as Early as Monday

US Embassy staff in Ukraine have been reportedly ordered to evacuate as early as Monday amid tensions with Russia.

An unnamed US official allegedly told FOX News that the US state department ordered the evacuation and advised Americans in Ukraine to depart on available commercial flights.

A similar Bloomberg report also suggested that there was a plan for embassy staff family members to return home immediately while non-essential employees would be able to leave voluntarily.

Currently, there are estimated to be 180 Americans and 560 Ukrainians working at the embassy while the number of Americans in Ukraine is expected to be larger.

The US government has already warned of the escalating situation in Ukraine but no official announcements have been made yet.
