Top Ukraine and Tajikistan officials on Monday agreed on enhancing bilateral ties on various issues, said a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press service.
Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Dmytro Senik and Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda agreed to continue constructive and strategic cooperation between the two countries, the statement said.
Senik highlighted the need for acceleration of Ukrainian-Tajik political dialogue, with emphasis made on increasing trade.
The two sides also focused on the prospect of bilateral cooperation in energy, investment culture and education fields, according to the statement.
Exports of goods from Ukraine to Tajikistan from January-October 2021, amounted to $16.68 million.
