Arab-Coalition Airstrikes Killed Three Civilians in Yemen: Officials

At least three civilians were killed in a Saudi-led coalition airstrike targeting a Mosque in Sanaa, the capital city of Yemen.

According to Yemeni News Agency Saba, the coalition carried out two airstrikes on the Sawad Asr area in Maeen district that also damaged a number of nearby houses and schools.

The official quoted by Saba without disclosing his name and position said the attack on civilian populated areas is a war crime.

The unnamed official also condemned in the “strongest possible terms the continuation of the aggression coalition’s attacks on citizens and residential neighborhoods” in the capital Sanaa.

Yemeni authorities also reported that Usaylan, one of the largest districts of the Yemeni governorate of Shabwa, was cleared of the Houthi militias.

The Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik praised “the field victories achieved by the Giants forces and the army in liberating the Usaylan district from the control of the Houthi coup militia.”
