Yamaha Recalls XVS95C Motorcycles Due to The Engine Case Potentially Leaking Oil

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA recalled 233 model year 2020-2021 XVS95C motorcycles due to potential safety risk.

The engine case may leak oil onto the rear tire.

Oil on the rear tire may cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Owners are advised to not ride their motorcycles until they are repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the engine — as necessary — free of charge.

There have been no reported incidents or injuries to date.
