Iranian 24 Hour COVID-19 Stats: 67 Dead and 2,784 New Infections

Iran’s Health Ministry on Tuesday said 67 COVID-19 patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 130,831.

Another 3,042 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition and in intensive care units, it added.

2,784 people were tested positive for the virus during this period of time, and 433 of them have been hospitalized, according to the ministry.  

Iran has reported 6,160,303 positive cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak of the virus, among them 5,980,566 patients were recovered and discharged from hospitals, IRNA news agency reported.

Moreover, 58,857,213 Iranians have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the ministry said, adding another 49,729,644 people have received the second jab.
